Usually, my Top Five Tuesday consists of a compiled list of my top five favorite books of a given sub genre. This week, I wanted to do something a little different...
Let me just say, I don't know this author personally. Before being an author, I'm a reader. I'm a HUGE fan of the male to male genre. I will read anything I can get my hands on. So, when I come across a book that grabs me and makes me want to talk nonstop about it, I will;)
My Top Reasons, you should read King Perry by Edmond Manning.
Purchase Here
Reason Number Five:
You will laugh. You will cry. You will beg for more.
Reason Number Four:
The mystery. The whole time I was reading this book, I wanted to know how Vin was pulling off these masterful works. Vin's King weekends take so much planning. I was dying to skip ahead, but couldn't dare miss one moment!
Reason Number Three:
Vin Vanbly. I have fallen madly for this fictional character. The whole time I was reading this story, I wanted to sit down with Vin and get to know him more. Of course then I realized I would more than likely have to steal a duck or walk like a bear. I love what Vin stands for in this story!!
Reason Number Two:
The plot. The plot of this story is unlike anything I have ever read before. You will find yourself wondering what you need to be the King or Queen of. What is it that you need to let go of?
Reason Number One:
You will NOT be sorry you read this story. It grabs you from the moment go and will carry on with you well after you finish.
I debated if I should give you all more insight into King Perry, but I just don't want to spoil anything for you. I will tell you that this book is not a Romance per say. This is a book about finding yourself and healing your wounds so you can more forward in life instead of feeling stuck. Even investment bankers can be Kings! GO now and read this book!

Top Five Law Enforcement Characters
Today's Top 5 Tuesday:
Best Law Enforcement Character
Zephyr "Zef" Kocinos from Crazy Wind by Xara X. Xanakas
I don't know if it's the tattoos or the attitude, but Zef is one of my all time favorite characters. Zef is a big time cop settling into as a small town Sheriff. He is cranky, snappy, and down right funny.
Number 4:
Cristian Flesh from In the Flesh by Ethan Stone
Cristian becomes the prime suspect when one of his one night stands is murdered. His strict personal rules in the love department come tumbling down when he can no longer resist his lawyer Colby Maddox. I enjoyed seeing Cristian's rules (No touching, no sleepovers, etc) explode. The suspense in this story is really well written.
Number 3:
Jake Riordan from The Adrien English Mystery series by Josh Lanyon
I must admit, after book one I hated Jake. He had a lot to make up for before the series came to an end. Jake finally gets it right! Why is he on the list? Despite is continued mess ups he can't deny who he is any longer. He finally becomes the man Adrien needs for a partner.
Number 2:
Ryan Blackfeather from Carol Lynne's Cattle Valley Series
First off, the Cattle Valley series is addictive. If you haven't read them yet, buy in bulk! Ryan is just one part of the sexy threesome. Rio and Nate's description of Ryan is breathtaking. I'm a sucker for tats. Throughout the whole series, Ryan is one of the most protective, caring people. He loves his men and his job.
Number 1:
Roan McKichan from Andra Speed's Infected series
One of the main reasons Roan is number one of this list is because throughout the whole series he leaps off the page. I feel like the reader really gets to know the ex-cop. The character development is one of the best I have ever read. Plus I think my Roan love may have a little bit to do with the fact that he's a shifter. I am a sucker from feline shifters.
Those are my top five law enforcement characters. Once again, these are just my options of books I have read. I know there are many other characters just waiting for me to discover. Please feel free to share your favorites as well!

Best Gay Cowboy
Hello everyone! Welcome to my first Top Five Tuesday!! This week I will be rating my Top Five Best Gay Cowboy books. Now, let me warn you...these are my picks. I have read each of these books and no one is asking me to post their story here. I'm seriously addicted to cowboy stories. My first M/M read was The Tin Star by J.L. Langley. Since then I have had a passion for the ranch life. I just can't get enough of them:) If you have a favorite let me know!! I will most definitively need to check it out;)
Number 5:
What makes this story so good? I loved the build up between Ray and Travis. The whole will they/won't they scenario was killing me. I had to keep reading and find out what was going on.
Number 4:
Number 3:
Roe Davis pulls you into this story from page one. I fell in love with Roe! I just wanted to hug him and make everything bad disappear. Roe is a beautifully damaged character so well written he comes to life on the page. The sex scenes with Travis are hot and so damn written is makes you want more. The BDSM scenes in this story are amazing. I couldn't get enough! Heidi made me want to be a better writer.
Number 2:
I first picked up this book at about midnight, I always read before bed. I thought I would read a little and then finish the next day...yeah it didn't turn out that way. I stayed up until 2am. I HAD to finish this story. Riley and Jack's story has it all! Family issues, angst, sadness, and love pull this story together perfectly. This read was fast pace and kept me hooked. This was my first RJ Scott read, I immediately fell in love with her:)
Number 1:
I love, love, love this story. I wanted to throw my e-reader across the room then run and pick it up because I needed to know what happened. Jake and Tornado's story is raw, gritty, and a pure rush. I have never fallen for characters like I did Jake and Tor. I have heard a lot of people say they got tired of reading sex scene after sex scene, but they don't realize it's there for a reason. The couple use sex as a way to communicate instead of talking. They become stuck and horrible things happen when their relationship takes a detour. I have never been able to read this story more than once because how involved I get with the characters. Amazing read!
So I have shown you mine! What's your top 5 Gay Cowboy stories?
Number 5:
Long Tall Drink by L.C. Chase
What makes this story so good? I loved the build up between Ray and Travis. The whole will they/won't they scenario was killing me. I had to keep reading and find out what was going on.
Number 4:
Lorcan's Desire by S.J.D. Peterson
Honestly, this one was a bit hard to chose between. Who can pick just one book when you have Quinn and Ty's story to read as well? The Whispering Pines Ranch series is not one to be passed up! You have to start at the beginning with this series. SJD will kill you with this read. The ENDING!! What a cliffhanger! The Lorcan/Quinn/Jess triangle is amazing. Quinn is so mouthwatering;)Number 3:
Nowhere Ranch by Heidi Cullinan
Number 2:
The Heart of Texas by R.J. Scott
Number 1:
Bareback by Chris Owen
I love, love, love this story. I wanted to throw my e-reader across the room then run and pick it up because I needed to know what happened. Jake and Tornado's story is raw, gritty, and a pure rush. I have never fallen for characters like I did Jake and Tor. I have heard a lot of people say they got tired of reading sex scene after sex scene, but they don't realize it's there for a reason.
