Happy Anniversary

Seven years ago today, I married my best friend Jeremy. Since then, our life has taken a complete one hundred and eighty degree turn. I can honestly say I love him more today than I did seven years ago. I have learned a lot about myself over these years. Our love continues to bend and allow us to move and grow with one another. I am a blessed woman!


I met Jeremy when I was a senior in high school. He was a college student then working full time at the same place I was. We hit it off right away. I tried setting him up with many of my friends. At the time, I thought he was too good for me. I didn't think I deserved to be loved like he was willing to offer. A few weeks before my high school graduation, I had a dream that I was getting married. The man at the alter had dark hair and gave me a map of the world. In his vows, he told me the world was the limit. Nothing was could hold us back. For graduation, Jeremy bought me a map of the world. Inside, he wrote in black marker, "The world's the limit." I opened the gift in front of my mom and couldn't contain my HOLY COW moment. She cried. I cried. Jeremy said, "So does that mean you finally go out with me?" Needless to say, we have been together since.


For this weeks Playlist Monday, I chose the song my friend sang at our wedding. The lyrics 'Every long lost dream led me to where you are' spoke to me. Our road hasn't always been smooth, but it has been blessed and led us to one another.
